Why Now?

Stress-related treatments cost our nation $3 billion, more than $10k per year/employee for organizations & decades of wasted healthy years for individuals. As we learn to live in a pandemic-ridden world, we must also develop new methods to cope with the repercussions of COVID-19.


Like most health conditions, mental health issues can be prevented. We are excited to share an important discovery in the areas of prevention - emotional distress can be detected early from speech.

We Need Your Help

We are at early stages of developing technology that could detect emotional distress at scale. To put our technology to the test, we are conducting a clinical trial. Specifically, we are looking for 200 people to join our trial. If you are age 21 to 55 & currently employed full-time, please join us. Slots are filling fast!


We are offering a $20 GrabFood gift card for every person that completed the trial. If you wish to enroll your organization (with a minimum of 10 people), we will give you an additional $80 GrabFood gift card.


About Our Clinical Trial


When you think about clinical trials, you might think of labs, drugs & medical devices. That’s not quite how we run our clinical trial. Instead of sitting many hours in a lab, you will be participating in the clinical trial from the comfort of your home or office.


Simply attend a short briefing (over Zoom), install our mobile app & you are ready to start. During the clinical trial, we will send app push notifications thoughtfully so you don’t feel overwhelmed. These notifications will prompt you to fill out a feedback form which takes just 20 seconds to complete. We only send them at the beginning & end of the trial.

Our Stance on Data Privacy & Security

Just like you, we do not like to expose or sell our personal data to anyone. Here’s what we do to protect your privacy:

  1. When you sign up for the trial with your contact information, we store it in a secure Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform for the sole purpose of communications during the trial. You can request the deletion of your contact information after the trial completion & we will process it within 24 hours. No questions asked.

  2. When you use our mobile app, all your personal health data is stored securely on your phone only. We do not keep your health data in our Cloud servers. No employee from Bonfire Health or our partnering university (National University of Singapore) will request your health data. Period.
